“Careful, man, there’s a beverage here!” 🍺   NIMBA Dads (and Dads-to-be), it’s time to abide. We’re celebrating Father’s Day with an informal catch-up: dinner, drinks, and of course a little bowling. Think of it as a chance to roll out your best Big Lebowski quotes, hurl a few strikes, or just hang out with some good company.   We’ve got a lane booked from 8pm for one hour. The venue suggests rolling in early if you want to bowl (socks & flat shoes required). But hey - “the Dude minds, man” if you stress. No pressure: if bowling isn’t your thing, or you can only drift in later, that’s cool.   Dinner and drinks can be purchased at the bar. (“This is not ‘Nam. BYO snacks or drinks for your little ones.  ********************** This playgroup we have special guests African Drumming coming to run their inclusive and engaging mix of drumming, dancing and singing! PLEASE NOTE: this event will be running virtually on 20th August. Further details will be emailed to all those who have registered their attendance. NIMBA expectant parent sessions are approximately 2 hours long and a great way of preparing you for the arrival of your babies. We cover topics such as.... - Planning for the arrival of your multiples - Your hospital stay - Coming home and the early days with your multiples - What equipment you will (and won't) need - Getting help and support - Breast and bottle feeding - Routines - Getting out and about with your multiples It's also a great way to meet other parents expecting multiples. The session is open to mums, dads, partners, grandparents and anyone who might help you in the early days with your twins or triplets.

We have booked the miniBOUNCE zone. It has a a two-level active play structure with a dual-lane slide, a ball pit and a mini challenge course. The features and equipment encourage playful exploration and help build confidence and independence while having fun. Waitlist: please email Anna or Beatrice at events@nimba.amba.org.au if ticket allocation is exhausted and you wish to be notified if places become available due to cancellation. Tickets are only for the MiniBounce Zone (exclusively for pre-schoolers : walking age (18months) to 5yo/110cms), therefore please only order tickets for NIMBA pre-school family members. See FAQs for information regarding tickets for over 5s.) To ensure this ticketing system is fair for all NIMBA members, you should only reserve the tickets you need for your own family. If you have yet to renew your membership, the NIMBA Committee requests your membership is renewed before ordering tickets as non-renewed members are ineligible to attend. Do I order tickets for adults? No, adults attending Kid-Zone with their under-5 year olds do not require a ticket. Do I order tickets for adults who want a General Session ticket? NIMBA will reimburse the cost of children only. Big adult kids will need to purchase their own tickets. Can I come if I have not yet renewed my membership? Please ensure your membership is up-to-date before ordering your tickets. Members who have not renewed their membership are ineligible to attend.
