Please join us for a NIMBA Weekend Playgroup in Merri-Bek Held on the last Sunday of the month, playgroup is a great chance to get together with other families of multiples for a chat, a snack and a play. Our NIMBA survey told us that a longer session is preferred, so we've extended the meetup to 11.30am. Please bring along any snacks or drink for your little ones. We try to have a sit down together part way through for a bit of a nibble. All-ages are welcome!!! As are siblings and family members. The space: the hall is a large open space so there is lots of room for prams, lots of space for different play zones, kid sized tables to sit at for a play or a snack, and a cushy mat for littlies to lay on. Parking and public transport is available right out side on Sydney Rd. Come through the front gate, through the front doors and you'll find us at the end of the hallway in the back room. (there are a couple of steps inside in the hallway - if you need help getting down with a pram let us know!)   This is a member only event. Extra special  musical  THORNBURY PLAYGROUP for June.  We have got BopAlong music coming to join us for 45minutes of musical frivolity for this special playgroup edition. All family members welcome, Erynn will cater to all ages with singing and dancing and may even bust out the rainbow parachute.  THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY EVENT - PLEASE RSVP. Come on down to Oldis Gardens 10-12noon in Northcote and enjoy some fresh air, beautiful scenery and some fellow multiples company! BYO Picnic mat and snacks.

***Please note updated venue *** Multiple Births Awareness Week 2023 | Equality for Multiple Birth Families With thanks to the City of Yarra, NIMBA will celebrate MBAW with a family fun day, including: Morning Tea Facepainting Sports 4 Kinders sport sessions Music with Razz Easter Egg Hunt BYO picnic blankets, sunscreen, hats, drinks, etc. Why not hang around for a playground play afterwards? Hi all, Just a reminder of the NIMBA End of Year party this Sunday 27th November. We're planning lots of fun activities including: Magic Show Petting Zoo, Craft Corner  PLUS a special guest appearance by Mrs Claus! There'll also be a coffee cart, and morning tea will be provided.  Note that this event will be predominantly held outdoors - so far no rain is forecast for Sunday (crossing fingers and toes!) but please come prepared. Other details: Remember, as per our Covid Safe Plan, attendees must socially distance and where this is not possible, wear a mask. Attendees should not attend if they display any COVID symptoms or have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID case in the last 14 days. Please note that photos may be taken at NIMBA events for the purpose of celebrating our community and recording our history. NIMBA member event. All Children must bring their own bikes and helmets. No scooters or skateboards (venue requirement). 2yo+ (older children to be considerate of our younger members who are sharing the track).  Max 30 tickets for the session (1 ticket per child over 2) This Children’s Week activity is presented by Northern and Inner Multiple Birth Association INC (NIMBA) in partnership with the Victorian Government. Please note photos will be taken for sharing with our community and grant providers. If you do not wish to be included, please let one of the Committee members know on the day.
